My STORY

I help women & professionals reconnect with who they are & what they need.

psychologist, business mentor, and creative human.

hey, i’m Lauren

I’m a values-led, creative human living in regional NSW. I care about helping people reconnect with who they are and what matters to them, beyond the noise of expectations, roles, and shoulds.

I find clarity through reflection, rhythm through craft, and connection in small, meaningful moments. Fibre arts and creativity have always been part of my life, not as a productivity hack, but as a way to pause, process, and come back to myself.

I’m drawn to the spaces where people are ready to unlearn, rethink, and rebuild – gently, thoughtfully, and on their own terms. I value humour, honesty, good boundaries, and work that feels like it fits.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

this work began when I stopped trying to do things the “right” way.

As a psychologist working in a regional area, I saw how often people — especially women and professionals — were stretched thin, boxed in, or burned out trying to meet expectations that didn’t really fit. I felt it too. The pressure to be everything to everyone. The invisible rules. The “shoulds” that quietly shape how we live and work.

Over time, I started creating space — for myself and others — to slow down, reflect, and do things differently. A more creative way. A more human way. This work was born in yarn and quickly jotted notes, in quiet moments and honest conversations, and in the belief that life and work can feel more like yours, even in places where you’ve been told to shrink or fit in.

get to know me

A few things about me…

I feel most myself when I’m supporting women to deconstruct social expectations and reconnect with their own truth.

I don’t have a long morning routine, but I do have a long coffee.

My go-to creative outlet is knitting, especially sockssweaters, and a crochet frog purse I’m unreasonably proud of.

I like projects that are both functional and a little bit playful.

I get my best ideas when I step away from my desk and start making something instead.

Boundaries have changed my life, they give me space to enjoy what I love without pressure.

I don’t believe in hustle but I do believe in making things that feel like you.

My playlists bounce between melancholy emo and early-2000s pop punk nostalgia, and I’m fine with that.

I’m childfree by choice, and I believe in making space for joy, rest, and a life that fits me.

I’m endlessly drawn to conversations that start with “I’m not sure I’m allowed to say this, but…”

I believe in…

001.

Creative Empowerment

I bring creativity, reflection, and practical insight together to help people build lives, practices, and identities that feel like their own – whether through yarn, words, or work that finally makes sense.

002.

Rural-Rooted & Accessible

I live and work in regional NSW, and I care deeply about making space for professionals and women outside the usual city-centric systems. My work is grounded, flexible, and designed to meet people where they actually are.

003.

Compassionate Connection

I show up as a real person first. My work is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in the belief that people don’t need to be fixed – just supported in coming home to themselves.

in 2025 my psychology practice, Regenerative Psychology was awarded the Riverina Murray NSW Business award for Excellence in Micro Business showcasing that we can create sustainable businesses that work.
